§ Mr. Peter Reesasked the Minister of Technology whether, as a first step to alleviating the unemployment problem in Dover, Deal and Sandwich, he will raise the lower limit beyond which an industrial development certificate is required in East Kent from 3,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet.
§ Mr. RidleyThe I.D.C. control is operated flexibly in the Dover, Deal and Sandwich area to take account of unemployment. No industrial development certificates under 5,000 sq, ft. have been refused there for several years.
