62. Mr. Robert Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to extend the Rent (Scotland) Act, 1965, to provide security of tenure to tenants of furnished dwellings.

This is one of the matters being considered by a Commtitee under the Chairmanship of Mr. Hugh Francis, Q.C., and my right hon. Friend will consider it in the light of the Committee's report.
