HC Deb 08 July 1970 vol 803 c60W
Mr. Maclennan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will undertake as a matter of priority the bridging of the Dornoch Firth.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

The hon. Member will know that I have long emphasised the need to assess the cost and justification of such a crossing by comparison with that of maintaining the present road mileage. I can assure him that such an assessment will be made at the appropriate stage.
