§ 78. Mr. Robert Hughesasked the Minister of Technology if he will give an assurance that existing development areas in Scotland will retain their status and incentives to industrial expansion under Her Majesty's Government's proposals to stimulate growth.
§ Mr. RidleyThe Government's regional policies will be designed to give effective assistance towards industrial development and to secure value for money. We have at present no plans for changes in the Scottish development area.
