§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, in view of Recommendation 192 on co-operation between Europe and the United States of America, adopted by the Assembly of Western European Union on 10th December, 1969, what steps Her Majesty's Government will take to help the Western European Union Council co-ordinate the policies of its members in the International Monetary Fund; and what conditions Her Majesty's Government require to be implemented before Western Europe an countries will take part in a European Security Conference.
§ Mr. LuardWe have made it clear that we would be prepared to take part in discussion of international monetary policy in the Western European Union as well as in other forums. Matters relating to the International Monetary Fund can be considered in that context. As to a European Security Conference, my right hon.
