asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proportion Scotland has received of the loans made available by Her Majesty's Government for co-ownership and cost-rent housing schemes; and what is the total sum involved.

Following are the figures up to the end of 1969.

Loans by the Housing Departments under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1962 and the Housing Act 1961:

residents are made available to Scottish borrowers.
