§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland has statutory responsibility for these matters in Scotland under the Physical Training and Recreation Act, 1937. My hon. Friend the Minister of State at the Ministry of Housing and Local Government has special responsibility for sport in Great Britain as a whole, and where this relates to Scotland, he acts in consultation with my right hon. Friend.
