HC Deb 21 January 1970 vol 794 c123W
39. Mr. David Steel

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received in the last six months on the need to include a replacement for Peel Hospital on the 1972–77 hospital building programme; and what replies he has sent.

Mr. Millan

Representations have been received during the last six months from the Borders Economic Planning Consultative Group, 10 local authorities, Galashiels Labour Party, and the National Health Service Executive Council for Roxburgh, Berwick and Selkirk. These bodies have all been informed that their representations will be taken into account when the hospital building programme for the period after March, 1972, is being decided.
