§ Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Minister of Technology (1) whether he will now announce the Government's decision on the financial contributions required to be made by developers for the connection of electricity and gas to new housing developments; and whether he will make a statement;
(2) what bodies outside the Civil Service have taken part in his Department's discussions regarding connection charges for gas and electricity to new housing developments; on what date these discussions first began; how many official meetings there have been in respect of them; on what date the last such meeting took place; and why he has not yet announced a decision on this matter;
(3) whether he will now give details of the improvements which he is considering in the present arrangements for making connection charges to developers for gas and electricity on new housing developments; and when he proposes that they shall take effect.
