Mrs. Joyce Butler

asked the Prime Minister if he will advise that consumer interests should be adequately represented when the Royal Commission on Pollution of the Environment is appointed.

The Prime Minister

The composition of the Royal Commission, which I announced on 17th February, is intended to provide a well-balanced and experienced membership, which is qualified to seek information and give advice on all aspects of pollution as they affect the whole community, including consumers.—[Vol. 796, c.98–9.]
