§ Mr. Oakesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will state the figures for each of the last five years of moneys expended by his Department on research into the causes and prevention of industrial accidents; and what amount 243W of money will be spent on such research during the current financial year.
§ Mr. EnnalsThis Department is not responsible for prevention of industrial accidents and no such expenditure has therefore been incurred by this Department. Research promoted under the Industrial Injuries Act is concerned primarily with questions bearing upon the possible prescription under the Act of particular industrial diseases.
