§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that Metropolitan Police continue to issue parking tickets to motorists who have paid road tax and have insurance and test certificates, for pausing for three-minute periods on yellow band areas, but take no action against vehicles which have no road fund licence, insurance or test certificates; and whether he will ensure that police act against persistent and not the minor law evaders.
