asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications whether his Department will undertake a study of the future of the agency services carried out for Government Departments by the Post Office Corporation;

with the crime wave; when such proposals were received; and what action he has taken.

My right hon. Friend always considers such proposals but does not think that it would be appropriate to publish details in the manner proposed.
