HC Deb 17 February 1970 vol 796 cc63-4W
59. Mr. Wingfield Digby

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the cost, under Schedule E, Case III, of changing the law to allow seafarers who have their salary paid monthly into a United Kingdom bank to be allowed claims for limited assessments, regardless of the port where the seafarer signs off and/or despite the fact that they hold company contracts.

Mr. William Rodgers

I regret that the information is not available upon which to base such an estimate.
