HC Deb 17 February 1970 vol 796 c68W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the improved balance of payments and the strength of the economy, he will give consideration in his forthcoming Budget to freeing the National Health Service of all charges so far as the users of this service are concerned.

Mr. Diamond
