HC Deb 17 February 1970 vol 796 c98W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that Ministers and Ministerial Departments take 10 to 12 weeks to reply to Members' letters and that replies are not received until Parliamentary Questions have been tabled; and whether he will ensure that replies are sent to correspondence from Members of Parliament within a shorter period of time.

The Prime Minister

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to a Question by him on 23rd January, 1969. —[Vol. 766, c. 117.]
