§ Mr. Elystan MorganEstimates published by the British Insurance Association put direct fire losses in 1968 at £100 million and in 1969 at £120 million. My right hon. Friend will consider, in the light of the forthcoming report of the 387W Departmental Committee on the Fire Service, whether the publicity and advice on fire prevention which is already available should be reinforced by other measures.
