asked the Minister of Technology when he expects to receive and publish the report of the public inquiry into open-cast mining at the Anker site in North Warwickshire.

I am considering the report in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government. It will be published when the decision is announced.

under Section 2 of the Electric Lighting Act, 1909, to convert the Tilbury "B" Generating Station to burn oil. This is under consideration, and the implication for the coal industry will be taken into account before a decision is taken. No other applications are outstanding.
