§ 18. Mr. George Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he has completed his inquiries into the practicability of child-proof tablet containers; and whether these are now freely available from pharmacists at no extra charge when a prescription is being made up.
§ Dr. John DunwoodyOur consideration of this matter is not yet complete. There is no charge to patients for the containers in which medicines provided under the National Health Service are dispensed; but I think it unlikely that this type of container is at present used by chemists to any significant extent.
