79. Mr. Moonman

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will now make a further statement on the implementation of the Seebohm Committee's Report, in view of the concern at the delay recently expressed by several social service organisations.

83. Mr. Milne

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now make a statement on the discussions which have taken place with local authorities and other bodies in regard to the implementation of the Seebohm Report.

Mr. Crossman

My colleagues and I have had full discussions on this matter with the local authority associations and other bodies and I hope shortly to introduce legislation.
