§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will reconsider the 1972–73 allocation of primary school replacements amounting to £150,000 in the county of Derbyshire.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeMy right hon. Friend is satisfied that Derbyshire has a fair share of the resources available in 1972–73. Local education authorities have just been asked for their proposals for the following programme, which will be the second in a series designed to bring within sight the replacement or improvement of sub-standard 19th century primary schools for which there is a long-term need.
§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will meet a deputation from the Derbyshire Education Committee to discuss an increase in the allocation of resources for Derbyshire primary schools in order to restore the amount to its 1970–71 level.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeMy right hon. Friend will be glad to discuss Derbyshire's 463W problems with representatives of the local education authority when she is in the county next month.
