§ Mr. Hall-Davisasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will give a general direction to electricity boards that when programming load-shedding and power cuts horticulture should be considered on the same basis as industry.
§ Sir J. EdenThe programming arrangements of the boards depend very much on local circumstances, and there would be no point in directing boards to do what may not be practicable; but I understand that, generally speaking, horticulture has been treated in the same way as industrial undertakings drawing supplies from the low voltage networks.
