asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how average prices for fat cattle, sheep and lambs in markets in Wales during the latest available period compared with the average prices for the same in markets in England.

The latest figures available are the estimated average market prices of fat cattle, sheep and lambs certified under the Fatstock Guarantee Scheme, based on a sample of 56 markets in England and 8 markets in Wales. I give below weekly figures for
