HC Deb 15 December 1970 vol 808 cc305-6W
Sir Clive Bossom

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when the results of the survey conducted during August to study the needs and wishes of road users in the south-west will be available; and how soon thereafter decisions will be made concerning any new roads to be built to meet the future requirements of traffic in that area.

Mr. Graham Page

Analysis of the results of this extensive study should be available to the Department by next summer. The timing of decisions must await examination of the study.
