§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is aware of the fact that the Medical Officer of Health or the London Borough of Hackney has served six public health notices upon the Greater London Council in respect of certain properties at Paragon Road, Hackney, E.9; and if he will initiate an official public inquiry into the management by the Greater London Council of these and other sub-standard properties.
§ Mr. AmeryThe management of the Greater London Council's housing is entirely a matter for that council. I understand, however, that the repair work in question is in hand and that there are proposals for substantial improvements to these dwellings.
