Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he is aware of the present situation in which private flying clubs find it difficult to obtain the use of an airfield; and if he will arrange for use by private clubs of those airfield facilities not fully utilised by the Royal Air Force.
§ Mr. NobleI am aware that some proposals for operations by flying clubs have been rejected from time to time, but I am always ready to put reasonable requests for the civil use of military airfields to my right hon. Friend.
