§ Mr. Barry Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Wales what was the number of houses built in the private sector in Wales and East Flintshire for the years 1960, 1963, 1965 and 1967; what is his estimate for 1970; what are the corresponding figures for local authority building programmes of the same year; and if he will make a statement.

I cannot say how many of the houses now under construction will be completed by the end of the year.
