§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he has now received an application from the London Borough of Newham for capital sanction for the conversion of their schools heating system, which is required at a cost of £ 100,000 to £ 150,000, in view of the fact that they can only obtain 40 per cent. of their coke supplies for the coming winter; and what reply he intends to give.
