§ 59. Mr. Hooleyasked the Minister of Technology if he will arrange a series of local conferences in appropriate centres to draw the attention of industrialists to the new inducements now available in intermediate areas.
§ Mr. Varley:Wide press publicity is given to the facilities available in the development and intermediate areas. In addition, officers of the Ministry, both at headquarters and in the regions, take every opportunity of bringing these facilities to the attention of industrialists. If it could be shown that there was a need for local conferences we would explore the practical possibilities.
