asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many prosecutions there have been for infringements of the Noise Abatement Act in 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969.

In England and Wales in the years 1966–69 the respective numbers of persons proceeded against for offences under the Noise Abatement Act, 1960, were as follows:

Corresponding figures for 1964 and 1965 are not readily available.
