HC Deb 22 April 1970 vol 800 c119W
Mr. Lubbock

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many persons he estimates are required to submit a form P11D for the year 1969–70; and what estimate he has made of the number of these exempted by an increase of the limit from £2,000 to £2,500, and the consequent saving of man-hours to the Inland Revenue.

Mr. Taverne:

About 440.000 forms P11D were rendered for the year 1967–68, the latest year for which figures are available. There is not sufficient information to make an estimate of the effect of the suggested increase in the limit.
