§ 28. Mr. St. John-Stevasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a statement on the situation in Northern Ireland following his talks with official representatives.
§ Mr. CallaghanI met the Prime Minister of Northern Ireland and the Minister of Home Affairs on 10th April. Among the subjects discussed in a general exchange of views were the rôle of the security forces and economic and employment questions, including progress on the Northern Ireland Government's Economic Development Programme.
§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a further statement on the political and economic situation in Northern Ireland following his talks with representatives of the Northern Ireland Government.
