asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food why he has agreed to a further increase in the price of bread; on how many occasions since October, 1964, his Department has agreed to price increases or has records of such increases; and by how much in each instance.

As to the first part of the Question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer my right hon. Friend gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Leicester, North-West (Sir B. Janner) on 7th April. As to the second part, the increase to be made next week will be the seventh since October, 1964, in the price of standard loaves sold by the major plant bakers.—[Vol. 799, c. 49–50.]
