§ Mr. Robert Edwards
asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what applications he has had from the County Boroughs of Dudley and Wolverhampton for special grants for the clearing of unsightly and derelict land.

§ Mr. Greenwood
One application from Wolverhampton corporation for grant towards reclaiming 9 acres of derelict land is under consideration by the 185W Ministry's regional office at Birmingham. The Department's officers will be getting in touch with the authorities to discuss their future programmes.

(iv) Section 9 of the Local Government Act 1966 50 Throughout the country.

(v) The residual costs falling on local authorities also qualify for rate support grant.
