asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects to reach conclusions on the Report of the Working Party on the Hospital Pharmaceutical Services; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what proposals he now has to improve the conditions and prospects of the Hospital Pharmaceutical Service; and if he will make a statement.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he will take action arising out of the Report on the Hospital Pharmaceutical Services.

Mr. Crossman

The Working Party's Report includes important recommendations designed to improve the efficiency of the Hospital Pharmaceutical Service and the career prospects of its staff. I shall reach conclusions on the recommendations after I have received and considered the views of the bodies mentioned in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Liverpool, West Derby (Mr. Ogden) on 25th February. They have been asked to send them to me by 31st May.—[Vol. 796, c. 355–7.]
