§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister on what basis he estimates that it would take a disproportionate cost to give full details of the number and type of appointments made by Her Majesty's Government since 1964 of Ministers, ex-Ministers, Members and ex-Members of both Houses of Parliament to salaried positions and their salaries received; and whether he will give as much information as may be readily available without incurring any disproportionate costs.
§ The Prime MinisterIn order to provide this information it would be necessary to ask all Departments to review all appointments made by their Ministers to salaried positions over a period of six years. This would involve disproportionate cost.
