§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many housing authorities in Scotland failed to operate approved allocation schemes in 1967, 1968 and 1969; and if he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT those whose allocation schemes currently do not conform with the recommendations of his circular.
§ Mr. RossHousing authorities do not require my approval of their allocation schemes. The following local authorities have informed me that they consider the advice in SDD Circular No. 63/1968 unsuitable in some respects for their circumstances.
