§ Mr. Denis HowellThe total amount of Betterment Levy collected by the Land Commission to 31st March, 1970, is £29.7 million. Two thousand one hundred and ninety-eight acres of land have been acquired and 319 acres have been sold, 44 for development in the private sector and 275 acres for the public sector.
