44. Mr. Gresham Cooke
asked the Minister of Power if he will make a further statement on the progress of the Central Electricity Generating Board's discussions on the pollution of the River Thames at Battersea Power Station and the experimental suspension of gas washing in relation to the conditions imposed in the Power Station in 1927 and 1937, under the Electricity (Supply) Act 1919 and the Electricity (Supply) Act 1926.
Mr. Alan Williams
I have nothing to add to the answer given on 22nd July. The Central Electricity Generating Board have not yet completed their discussions with interested parties.—[Vol. 787; col. 314.]
