§ Mr. Powellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why he amended the standard conditions of Government contracts for stores purchase in October last so as to include a requirement that contractors shall not act unlawfully in respect to the Race Relations Act, 1968; and whether he will further amend the 398W standard conditions so as to require contractors not to infringe any other provisions of the general law.
