§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has had regarding the introduction of rent rebate schemes for tenants of privately-owned houses; and what reply he has sent.
§ Mr. RossGlasgow Corporation wrote on 6th November seeking my views on the possibility of such a scheme being introduced. I have told them that this is being examined as part of the Government's review of the whole question of housing finance, and have invited their views about how a scheme might be administered and financed.
