HC Deb 12 November 1969 vol 791 c114W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received from the Child Poverty Action Group concerning the administration of benefits available to low-paid workers and their families; what replies he has made; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Crossman

The representations I received concerned the availability in Manchester of application forms for free welfare foods and for refund of prescription charges and the general question of publicity about benefits. I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply to his Question of 20th October on these matters. I am sending him a copy of the reply to the Child Poverty Action Group on the same day.—[Vol. 788, c.155–6; Vol. 788, c. 134.]
