HC Deb 12 November 1969 vol 791 c94W
Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much land has been compulsorily acquired by the Highlands and Islands Development Board since its inception; and what plans it has for such acquisition in the next 12 months.

Mr. Ross

The Highland Board has not, as yet, used its powers to acquire land compulsorily and I am informed that it has at present no plans to do so.
