asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will place in the Library a copy of the memorandum from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on allowances paid to Members attending overseas meetings of the Council of Europe, the Western European Union and the North Atlantic Assembly, referred to in the report of the Services Committee dated 21st October, 1969;

(2) whether he will seek the agreement of Mr. Speaker to placing in the Library a copy of the letter from Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer to Mr. Speaker concerning relations between the House, the Treasury and the Civil Service, referred to on page iii of the Report of the Services Committee, dated 21st October, 1969.
