Dr. Bennettasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will provide an up-to-date list of coastal local authorities whose arrangements for discharging sewage into the sea are now regarded by him as satisfactory, together with those where necessary improvements have still to be made; and what steps he intends to take in the near future to ensure adequate treatment of coastal pollution by sewage over the entire coasts.
