(2) if, in view of the importance to hon. Members of obtaining the advice of lawyers, accountants, estate agents and other professional people regarding the Finance Bill, he will now take action to end the unofficial strike that prevented proper distribution of the Bill.
§ Mr. TaverneHer Majesty's Stationery Office are doing their utmost to ensure that Members receive the necessary papers and, for the moment we should allow these efforts to continue with our support. If the situation persists, or deteriorates, we shall have to consider what further steps should be taken to ensure that Parliament continues to function effectively.
