These estimates, for which there is no age analysis, do not include (a) those civil servants whose National Insurance contributions are paid without the use of cards and (b) some persons whose cards are exchanged in a different area from their place of work. As the figures have been rounded independently, some rounded totals may differ from the sum of the rounded components.
