§ 49. Sir B. Jannerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, whether he will seek to amend section 92(1)(b) of the Public Health Act 1936, which provides that a statutory nuisance shall include any animal kept in such a place or manner as to be prejudicial to health or a nuisance, so that the keeping of dangerous wild animals will be treated as a nuisance under this section.
§ Mr. SkeffingtonNo. I could not accept that the keeping of dangerous wild animals must necessarily constitute a statutory public nuisance.
