§ Mr. William RodgersIndustrial noise is generally confined to a relatively narrow radius around premises where the owner can take whatever measures are open to him to abate the nuisance. Aircraft noise is not confined to a static location and noise abatement measures must take account of the needs of safety and air traffic control.
