§ Rear-Admiral Morgan Gilesasked the Minister of Transport when the Bar End junction, the main approach to Winchester off the Winchester bypass trunk road A33, will be bridged to eliminate the right-turning traffic which is the cause of many accidents.
§ Mr. MarshA further examination of requirements for traffic on the Winchester bypass is at present being made. Until this has been completed, I am unable to say whether the measures proposed to improve conditions at Bar End Junction will be appropriate. I will write to the hon. and gallant Member as soon as possible.
